Water meal
- Serve the main dish: eg a meat patty – presented nicely with proper main meal setup.
- Napkins
- Full cutlery
- Plates
- Garnishes
- Tablecloth
- (sophisticated) Table decorations
- While they are eating their patty we ask to fill up their glass. Throughout the meal we keep on adding more glasses to the table filling each of them up
- Emphasises the extremely large amount of water that is used in the process of getting your meat
- Each group member has a pitcher of water to fill up glasses
- Multiple water glasses
- Background ambience: some sort of water sounds?
Proposed Experience #2
Treat the guest like the animals they eat
- Fence the guests in to emphasise the penned in condition that the animals live in
- Fence
- Guests standing/no chairs
- Create a ‘farm’/animal setting
- Fake grass patch
- Serve the guests their food and water from a large container in the middle of the table representing troughs – one filled with food and one filled with water – that the guests help themselves to
- Two large containers
- Finger foods? (something that doesn’t require proper utensils)
- Emphasises the conditions that the animals live in
spatial design
